License Agreement

Last Updated: March 14, 2018

By downloading vectors from catholicvectors.com you agree to the terms of the following license agreement.

  • Licensor : the copyright owner granting this license.
  • You : an individual or legal entity exercising the permissions granted by this license.
  • Content/Licensed Content : all copyrighted artwork and electronic files protected by this license.

The standard license is single-seat — it is for a single user. *

The extended license is multi-seat — it permits the shared use of licensed content among all persons in your organization or company. *

* You are permitted to allow individuals and businesses you employ, such as printers and mailers, to use licensed content in production and distribution processes. These subcontractors may not use the licensed content for any other purpose.

Unlimited Works

Licensed content may be used in as many projects as you wish.

The license you purchase does not expire.

Licensed content is not licensed to you exclusively — the licensor may license it to others.

You may not resell, sub-license, rent, lend, gift or distribute the licensed content to anyone else.

Run Limit

An extended license is required for physical print runs that reproduce licensed content more than 500,000 times. This run limit restriction does not apply to electronic reproduction.

You may not use licensed content in any way that allows unauthorized download, extraction, redistribution or use of licensed content by third parties in any vector format.

  • For example, you may not use an SVG version of licensed content in the source code of a website or website template. In this example, to prevent unauthorized extraction and use, you must use a non-vector (rasterized) version of the licensed content.

You may not use licensed content in made-to-order products from print-on-demand and custom-order websites such as cafepress.com, zazzle.com, digital scrapbooking sites, etc. because the copyright owner already uses the licensed content on these sites and doing so constitutes a conflict of interest.

You may not use licensed content in an unlawful, immoral, obscene, or defamatory manner.

You agree not to falsely claim you are the original creator of works composed mostly of licensed content. You agree to retain embedded file information including content and owner identification and copyright symbols.

Examples of Licensed Content Use

Web design; web and mobile applications; blogs and social media; books, magazines and newspapers; physical and electronic advertising, marketing and promotional materials; product packaging; film and broadcast television.

Resale of Products Containing Licensed Content

An extended license is required to resell, distribute or license items for profit where the value is primarily in the licensed content itself. Some examples include but are not limited to:

  • Goods and services such as apparel and fabric items (t-shirts, vestments, etc.); stationary and paper products (greeting cards, postcards, stickers, posters, calendars); coffee mugs; phone cases; software/mobile applications.
  • Digital and electronic templates for documents, business cards, graphical user interfaces, websites, e-cards, screen savers, wallpapers, etc.

You are not required to credit the licensed content you use. (But a credit is greatly appreciated!)

Intellectual Property Rights

Licensed content is owned by the licensor and all rights not expressly granted by this license agreement are reserved.

Refunds are not offered for downloaded content. Returns of files with technical issues will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of the licensor.

The price to license content is subject to change without notice.

You may terminate this agreement at any time by ceasing to use and deleting your licensed content.

The licensor may terminate this agreement at any time if you fail to abide by its terms, which will require you to stop using the licensed content and delete all copies.

Licensed content is provided as-is without warranty of any kind, and is not garaunteed in any way.

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold the licensor harmless from all damages, liabilities and expenses due to any breach of the terms of this agreement by you or anyone acting on your behalf.

Limitation of Liability

You agree the licensor will not be liable to you or any other person or entity for any damages, costs or losses arising out of this agreement.
